This violet color is just in between ice blue sapphire and Brazilian Amethyst. Neither too dark nor too light, this elegant viola color is perfect for any occasion.
One of the characteristics of tanzanite is its multicolor nature. Depending on the light source and angle of view, the color of tanzanite can vary from blue to a light purple.
In fact, it is so rare that only a few tenths of diamondare said to be extracted. The reason is that it is currently produced only from a single mine in Tanzania.
Moreover, the mine is small, and only about four grams are extracted per ton.
