アレキサンドライト、パパラチャサファイアとともに、世界三大希少石の冠をもつパライバトルマリン！元々は、ブラジルのパライバというところで採れたネオンブルーのトルマリンのことをそう呼んだのですが、現在は、「銅とマンガンによる発色であるブルーからグリーンのトルマリン」のことを言います。
こちらのお石は、アフリカ、モザンビーク産のパライバ。
ミントグリーンのお色にほのかな蛍光感を持ちます。ほのかと書きましたが、いざリングにセットすると、ちゃんとパライバの強さを主張してくるから不思議です。
市場ではダイヤモンドより高価格をつけることもよくある石ですが、K10へのセッティングで、とてもリーズナブルになっています。この機会に是非どうぞ。
