Akoya PearlThe main characteristics of the "K" series are its illumination and iridescent interference colors.
Illumination is the light that comes from within the pearllayer in addition to surface reflections.
Akoya Pearlis made up of multiple layers of delicate pearllayers. As light passes through the translucent pearllayers, it repeatedly undergoes moderate refraction and diffuse reflection, producing a soft aurora borealis color.
