Moissanite is a mysterious stone found in meteorites. Its hardness is 9.5, surpassing Rubyand sapphire. It is the second hardest mineral after diamond.Not only that, but it is said to be 2.5 times more dispersive than diamondin terms of light dispersion, which is surprising.
This dispersion, in other words, is the prismatic effect. It is the value of how much iridescent brilliance, called fire in gemstones, is produced.
Diamonds also sparkle with glittering iridescence, but moissanite radiates 2.5 times more iridescence.
Natural moissanite is terribly rare, but it was successfully grown in a lab in 1998 and was made worldwide in 2015. It has become the most popular gemstone in the United States, surpassing diamonds.
The highest quality moissanite with a beautiful cut is used. Please enjoy the brilliance and fire that far surpasses diamonds.
